create

public void create(java.lang.String protocol,
                   java.lang.String mediaLocatorRemainder,
                   boolean quality)
            throws java.lang.Exception

Creates a Player and adds its visual component to the JPanel using BorderLayout.CENTER If the device specified by the first argument cannot be found or the argument is null, the first found video device will be used.

Parameters:

protocol - the protocol to be used, for example "v4l"

mediaLocatorRemainder - the video device to be used

quality - false for low resolution and low CPU usage, true for higher resolution and higher CPU usage

Throws:

java.lang.Exception

start

public void start()

Starts/resumes the player

stop

public void stop()

Stopps (pauses) the player

close

public void close()

Closes the player. After calling this method, the player cannot be started/resumed again.
